Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Lumio website and AI website-builder service (the “Service”) provided by Lumio (“Lumio”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Lumio lets you generate and publish websites from plain-language descriptions. Features, plans, and pricing may change as the Service evolves.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to create or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harmful, or that violates the rights of others. You may not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service.

4. Your content and ownership

You retain ownership of the content you submit and of the websites you generate. You grant Lumio a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service. Lumio retains all rights to the platform, software, and underlying technology.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Intellectual property

The Lumio name, logo, and software are the property of Lumio and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lumio is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
